Cletis Anderson Roberts Jr., 26, died Sunday, December 26, 1999 at Carilion Franklin Memorial Hospital at Rocky Mount.
He was born September 20, 1973, at Hot Springs a son of Cletis A. Sr. and Ester Loraine (Wooddell) Roberts.
He was employed by Roberts Cable Service. He was a member of Burnsville United Methodist Church, Burnsville Volunteer Fire Department and the Burnsville Community Center.
He is survived by his parents Cletis A. Sr. and Ester L. Roberts; a son, Master Joseph Anderson Roberts of the home; maternal grandmother, Esther Wooddell of Burnsville; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Cheryl and Leonard Neil, Deena and Danny Neil and Alecia and Charles Hise, all of Burnsville; five nieces and two nephews.
A service will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Wednesday at Obaugh Funeral Home in McDowell by the Revs. Robert Mass, David George, and Donald Lee Altizer with burial in Burnsville Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be James Crawford, Glen Lowry, Bobby and Tommy Ady, Bobby Burns and Steven Nelson.
Honorary pallbearers will be Kenny Phillips, Andy and Clifton Ryder, Tyler McCune, Chris Burns, Michael Lowry, Rusty Allen, Michael Roberts, Paul and Charles Keyser, Milton Needs and friends attending the service.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 tonight at the funeral home.
