Aggie Selmon

Aggie Fernando Selmon, 91, of Nella’s Nursing Home in Crystal Springs, died Monday, Aug. 11, 2003 at David Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Selmon was born August 12, 1911, in Calhoun County, and was a son of the late Seth Monroe and Hettie Hester Wilson Selmon.
He worked in the logging camps at Bartow, and also worked on the Hulver Farms in Pocahontas and Randolph County.
He is survived by two sisters, Goldie Gutshall of McDowell, Va. and Rosie Pugh of Staunton, Va.; a brother, Otis Selmon of Cherry Grove; and a number of nieces and nephews.
The Rev. Donald E. Rose will conduct a graveside 2 p.m. today at the Monterey Cemetery.
