Alma Elizbeth Wade

Alma Elizabeth Wade, 85, of Staunton, died Saturday night, November 12, 1988 in King's Daughters' Hospital.

She was born March 16, 1903 at Valley Center in Highland County, a daughter of Sidney G. and Emma (Vint) Wade.

She had owned and operated a restaurant in New York for 20 years and had worked as a private nurse in the Staunton area for 15 years.

She is survived by a sister, Mrs. Lilliam Wilcox of Warrenton and two nieces.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brother Wallace Dickey Wade.

A graveside service will be conducted 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Green Hill Cemetery at Mill Gap by the Rev. Robert Gur.

Pallbearers will be Lynn Townsend, James Bird, Stuart Hiner, Grant Woods, Dickk Woods and Ralph Pullin.
