Alta Crummett Brock

Alta Crummett Brock, 83, died Wednesday ight, December 11, 1991 at her home.

She was born March 22, 1908 at Valley Center, a daughter of Williams A. and Mary Ella (Doyle) Crummett.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Adam H. Brock, who died on October 29, 1967.

She was a member of the Beulah Presbyterian Church and the Women of the Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Betsey Dunlap of Ashland; two sons, Joe and John D. Brock, both of Monterey; a foster daughter, Sandra Fore of Farmville; and nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Brock was preceded in death by a grandson, Clarence Joseph Brock II.

A service will be conducted 2 p.m. Sunday at Obaugh Funeral Home by the Revs. C. William Cox and Jerry Ginn. Burial will be in Monterey Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be William M. Dunlap III, Richard H. Dunlap, James M. and David S. Brock, Stephen and Charles M. Fore.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home in McDowell.
