Amy Waybright Rexrode

Amy W. Rexrode, 95, of Waynesboro and formerly of Franklin, W. Va., died Wednesday, June 1, 1988 in Waynesboro Community Hospital. 

She was born Feb. 18, 1893 at Pendleton County, W. Va., a daughter of Alvie and Hannah Susan (Arbogast) Waybright. Her husband, Eddie B. Rexrode, died in August 1970.

Surviving are a son, Arval Rexrode of Waynesboro; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

A service was conducted 2 p.m. Saturday at Obaugh Funeral Home in McDowell by Dr. Bland Dudley, with burial in the Rexrode family cemetery on Middle Mountain near Blue Grass.

Pallbearers will be Edmund Hevener, Buckley Johnson, Erick Birckner, David and Harvey Rexrode and Delbert Waybright.

The family will received friends from 7-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home in McDowell.
