Annetta Bird

Annetta May Bird, 83, died Wednesday, November 3, 1999.

She was a daughter of James Cecil and Laura (Scruggs) Bird.

She was a homemaker and member of Green Hill United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by a brother, James C. Bird; and a half-sister, Lucille Swartz.

Surviving are a sister, Virginia Lee Bird; 12 nieces and nephews; 19 great-nieces and great-nephews; and seven great-great-nieces and great-great- nephews.

A service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Saturday at Obaugh Funeral Home by the Rev. Richard Gibson, with burial in Green Hill Cemetery. The family will friends one hour prior to the service.

Pallbearers will be Junior Gum, Joe Simmons, George Bird and Ralph Pullin.

Honorary pallbearers will be friends and neighbors attending the service.

Memorials may be made to the Highland County Rescue Squad or a charity of choice.
