Artie Judy Wooddell, 82, of Verona died Tuesday, December 15, 1987 at Rockingham Memorial Hospital.
She was born October 22, 1905 in Tucker County, WV, a daughter of the late Samuel and Allie Alt Judy.
Mrs. Wooddell was a member of the the American Association of Retired Persons.
Surviving are her husband, John H. Wooddell of Verona; a sister-in=law; three nephews; and a number of cousins.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in the Thornrose Cemetery in Staunton by the Rev. Everett C. McCulley.
Active pallbearers will be Nelson Simmons, Earl Alt, Bull Sullivan, Clyde Puffenbarger, Ronnie White, Charles Varner and Gilmer Ervine.
