Berlie M. Botkin Sr., 63, of Monterey died Thursday evening, November 22, 1990 at King's Daughters' Hospital.
He was born November 27, 1926 at Blue Grass, a son of Charles W. and Bonnie (Harold) Botkin.
On April 15, 1961 he married Leona Charlotte Hartman, who survives.
He was a member of Forks of the Water United Brethren Church. He had worked for Mullenax Lumber Co. and Franklin Enterprises for 20 years and had retired from the Highland County Landfill.
In addition to his widow of Monterey, He is survived by three daughters, Bonnie Ella Botkin, Diana Elizabeth Botkin and Jenny Lou Botkin, and one son, Berlie M. Botkin Jr., all of Monterey; and two nephews.
He was preceded in death by an infant sister, brother, Edward H. Botkin and a nephew.
A service will be conducted 2 p.m. Sunday at Obaugh Funeral Home by the Revs. David Schill and Jerry Ginn, with burial in Blue Grass Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be William Hrovat, Glen Halterman, Dale and Roger Propst, Albert Malcolm, Stewart and Roger Simmons, Scott Helmick, Gideon Hiner and Jimmy Todd.
