Camden Mitchell
June 12, 1904 — February 22, 1999
Camden Mitchell, 94, formerly of Sugar Grove, W.Va., died on Monday, February 22, 1999 at Camelot Health and Rehabilitation Center in Harrisonburg, Va.
He was born on June 12, 1904 at Stoney Run, a son of Emmanuel and Jemima (Simmons) Mitchell.
He was a member of Muhlenberg Lutheran Church and retired from Wampler Feed Division after 41 years of service. He served in the Army Air Corps during World War II.
He was the last surviving member of his immediate family.
Surviving are nieces and nephews.
A service will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Thursday at Sugar Grove Cemetery by the Rev. Joseph M. Vought.
Friends may call at Obaugh Funeral Home in McDowell.
Memorials may be made to the Muhlenberg Lutheran Church, 281 E. Market St., Harrisonburg, Va. 22801.
