Candace Adkins
July 15, 1969 — February 15, 2003
Candace P. Gokey Adkins, 33, of Richmond, died Saturday, Feb. 15, 2003 in a motor vehicle accident in Hanover County.
She was born July 15, 1969 in Richmond.
She is survived by her mother, Wanda A. Eagle Gokey of Wheeling, W.Va.; a brother, Alex Gokey of Richmond; her grandfather, Ray Eagle of Doe Hill; and an aunt and uncle, Jay and Willette Eagle of Harrisonburg.
A funeral service was held at Samaria Baptist Church in Providence Forge on Feb. 24.
Interment will be at Doe Hill Cemetery at a later date. The body was cremated.
Memorial contributions in Ms. Adkins’ honor may be made to the family.
