Charlene Ellen Bailey

Charlene Ellen Bailey, age 71, of Lewisburg, WV passed away Wednesday, August 6, 2025 at Lewis Gale Medical Center in Salem, VA.

She was born September 13, 1953, a daughter of the late Charles and Helen (Washburn) Baker.

Always a selfless woman, Charlene spent her life serving those around her. Whether it be the residents of a nursing home or her family, she took joy in helping others. She was always eager to go on a shopping trip and cherished every moment spent with her beloved children.

Above all, Charlene will be remembered for being a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

She is survived by daughters, Jennifer Robertson and boyfriend, Scotty Duncan of Hot Springs, and Billie Loan of Hot Springs; son, Alfred Bailey Jr. and wife, Mellissa of Clifton Forge; grandchildren, Joshua Robertson and wife, Carrington of Hot Springs, Aaron Loan of Hot Springs, and Kaleb Loan of Millboro; as well as great-grandchildren, Freya and Maelynn Robertson.

Her family will commemorate Charlene’s life privately at a later time.
