Charles Gale McGlaughlin

Charles Gale McGlaughlin, 61, of Mustoe, died Saturday night, May 13, 1989 in the Veterans Medical Center in Salem.

He was born August 4, 1927, at Mustoe, a son of John Boyd and Indiana Mae Corbett McGlaughlin.

He was an Amy veteran of World War II.

Survivors include his wife, Cornelia C. McGlaughlin of Hyattsville, Md.; two daughters, Cheryl Ann McGlaughlin of Shady Side, Md., and Lori Allison McGlaughlin, MD; two sons, Gerald McGlaughlin of Churchton, Md., and Jeffrey McGlaughlin of Churchville; thee sisters, Effie Elder of Jacksonville, Fla., Ivy Waggy of Waynesboro and Glenna Cauley, of Hot Springs; two brothers, Clem McGlaughlin of Mustoe and Delmar McGlaughlin of Central Squard, NY; and one grandson.

A service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Obaugh Funeral Home by the Rev. Ivan Young. Burial will be in the McGlaughlin Family Cemetery near Mustoe.

Pallbearers will be Jack Warner, Jerry Warner, Perry Warner, Carl Ratcliffe, Roy Gutshall Jr., Bill Waggy, Clement Waggy Jr., Buddy Hunt and Billy Pritt.

The family will receive friends 7-9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home in McDowell.
