Charles Rexrode

FRANKLIN, WV Charles Randolph "Tang" Rexrode, 89, of Franklin, WV and formerly of Blue Grass passed away Monday, July 15, 2013 at Pendleton Manor. He was born April 4, 1924 in Highland County a son of the late Charles H. and Minnie Viola Rexrode. Tang retired in 1987 after 44 years with Virginia Department of Highways. He was a past member of the former Thorny Bottom United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Russell, Amos and Walter Rexrode and three sisters, Elva Bailey, Artie Mae Simmons and Mildred Bailey. Tang is survived by two sisters, Bonnie Warner of Hinton and Shirley McCray of Harrisonburg and a number of nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be conducted 11 a.m., Thursday, July 18, 2013 at Blue Grass Cemetery with the Rev. Andre Crummett officiating. There will be no viewing or visitation.
