Clem Osten Kincaid, 73, of Monterey, died Wednesday, April 22, 2009 at his home. He was born August 15, 1935 in Mustoe a son of the late Guy L. and Lillian (Doyle) Kincaid.
Clem was a member of Pisgah Presbyterian Church and the Wagon Wheel Hunt Club. He was a truck driver, an avid outdoorsman and a NASCAR fan. He served in the U.S. Army.
He is survived by his wife, Jane (Gutshall) Kincaid, whom he married on December 20, 1958; two daughters and sons-in-law, Susan and Aareon Murray of Vanderpool and Lisa and Les Kodger of Monterey; a son, Dennis Kincaid of Mustoe; three granddaughters, Sarah Jane McCarty, Rachel Murray and Samantha Kincaid; a grandson, Vincent Murray; three step-grandchildren, Melissa, Abram and Adam Kodger; a sister and brother-in-law, Patsy and Jack Woodzell of Hot Springs; a special aunt, Daisy Terry; two nephews, Michael and Lou Kincaid; a niece, Carla Hickman; a special lifetime friend, Toby Conner and his beloved yorkie companion, Bandit.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m., Saturday, April 25, 2009 at Jacob Cleek Cemetery with the Rev. C. William “Bill” Cox officiating.
Active pallbearers will be Eugene Ratcliffe, Gary Hull, Ronnie White, Doug Herold, Chris Crigler, J.D. Hiner, Herb Lightner and Bobby Neil.
The family will receive friends at the home.
