Clem Kenton McLaughlin, 75, of Mustoe passed away Tuesday afternoon, July 25, 1989 at Bath County Community Hospital.

He was born November 28, 1913 at Mustoe, a son of John Boyd and Indiana Mae (Corbett) McLaughlin.

On April 13, 1934, he married Clara Agnes Terry, who survives.

He was a member of Hamilton Chapel Advent Christian Church, VFW Post 4989, and had served in the Army in World War II.

In addition to his widow, he is survived by two daughters, Mary Ann Kuzniar of Alexandria and Theola Folks of Tuexedo, Md.; three sisters, Eddie Elder of Jacksonville, FL, Ivy Waggy of Waynesboro and Glenna Cauley of Hot Springs; a brother, Delmar McGlaughlin of Central Square, NY; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

A service will be conducted 11 a.m. Friday at Obaugh Funeral Home by L. Wilson Nicely Jr., with burial in Hamilton Chapel Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Jeffrey McGlaughlin, Roy Gutshall, Paul Terry, Buddy Hunt, Jerry Moats and Lowell Terry.

The family will receive friends one hour  before the service at the funeral home in McDowell.

Memorials may be made to Hamilton Chapel Advent Christian Church, Warm Springs, Va. 24484, or to a favorite charity.
