Connie Waybright Marshall

Connie Way bright Marshall, 65, of Blue Grass died Monday morning, Jan. 23,1989 at her home. 

She was born June 2,1923 at Cherry Grove, W.VA, a daughter of Troy and Kate Warner Waybright. On July 18, 1941 she married Robert Lee Marshall Sr. of Blue Grass, who survives.

Mrs. Marshall was a member of Blue Grass United Methodist Church and was employed by Aileen Garment Co. in Monterey for 18 years. 

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Patricia Wagoner of Staunton and Donna Marshall of Fredericksburg; two sons, Robert L. Jr., of Blue Grass and Michael F. Marshall of King George; six sisters, Mrs. Tudie Mullenax and Mrs. Dolf Heise, both of Blue Grass, Mrs. Theresa Lambert of Riverton, WV, Mrs. Elizabeth Foster of Waynesville, Mo., Mrs. Gwendolyn Day of Absecon, N.J., and Mrs. Ardath Murphy of Cherry Grove, WV.; two brothers, Joe of Alexandria, and Trot Waybright of Warsaw, Ohio.

 A service was conducted 2 p.m. Wednesday at Obaugh Funeral Home by the Rev. Richard Gibson. Burial was in Blue Grass Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Randall L., Ronald W. Matthew R. and Jeffery A. Marshall and Roy Kimble Sr. and Jr.

The family will receive friends from 7-9 Tuesday at the funeral home in McDowell.
