Cora Puffenbarger

Cora (Ayers) Whitelaw Puffenbarger, 73, of Fort Howard, Md., died on Sunday, June 2, 1996 at Meridian Nursing Home.

She was born on February 12, 1923 at Rockbridge County, Va., a daughter of Wilmer and Susie Ayers.

Her first husband, Clyde Whitelaw, died on October 2, 1975 and her husband, Harry Puffenbargre, on april 16, 1983.

Surviving are two sisters, Clara Seville and Peggy Foltz, both of Fort Howard; and three brothers, Edward K. and Joe Elwood, both of Fort Howard and Charles Randolph Ayers of Dundalk.

Friends may call at Obaugh Funeral Home.

A service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Monterey Cemetery by the Rev. Jerry Ginn.
