Daisy Arbogast

The funeral for Daisy Neil Fleisher Arbogast, 91, Franklin WV., will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Obaugh Funeral Home in McDowell, Va.

Pastor Peggy Hurlbutt will conduct the service. Burial will be in Blue Grass Cemetery.

Mrs. Arbogast died December 3, 1995, at Avante Nursing Home in Harrisonburg, Va..

She was born November 22, 1904 in Cave,  and was a daughter of Samuel and Flora Weese Harper.

She was a member of Harper Chapel United Methodist Church.

On October 5, 1922, she married William Fleisher, who died February 11, 1953. On October 12, 1955, she married Ray Arbogast, who died on October 4, 1983.

Surviving are three sons, John Fleisher of Harrisonburg, Va. and Eston and Emory Fleisher, both of Franklin; one sister, Phoebie Giles, Greenville, SC; eight grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends 7-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
