Dr. Frank Holbrook

Dr. Frank Brightman Holbrook, 77, of Herndersonville, NC passed away Sunday, December 18, 2005 during a brief stay at Park Ridge Hospital in Fletcher, N.C.

Dr. Holbrook was born in Washington DC on December 30, 1927 to the late Julius and Lousie Holbrook. He was a brilliant teacher, scholar and theologian in the Seventh-day Adventist Church and was a loving husband to Donna Harris Holbrook, who was laid to rest in 1996.

Survivors include his present wife, Bonnie Snide Holbrook, and his was a kind gentle gather to  his three children, Beth Hehn, Tim Holbrook and Priscilla Holbrook-Frazier. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Timothy Jester, Shellie Pires, Lisa Jester, Karla Pires, John Holbrook and Emily Hehn; his step-grandchildren, Douglas Meacham, Wanda Meacham; and his step-grandchildren, Christopher and Jonathan Meacham.

A memorial service will be conducted at 12 p.m. Thursday, December 22, 2005 at the Seventh-Day Adventist Church near McDowell.
