Dr. Harry "Bill" Wood Jr

Dr. Harry Burgess “Bill” Wood Jr. died Wednesday, August 7, 2002 at Suburban Hospital.

He is survived by his wife, June Kiser Wood, of Bethesda; a daughter, Marian Lee Wood and her husband Charlie Hambrick of Denver, Co.; six stepchildren and 23 step-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Harry B. Wood Sr.; his mother, Annie L. Holt Wood; and his first wife, Gwendolyn Bernice Billings Wood.

Visitation will be at Pumphrey Bethesda-Chevy Chase Funeral Home, 7557 Wisconsin Ave., Bethesda, from 3-5 p.m. on Sunday, August 11.

Funeral services will be held at Bradley Hills Presbyterian Church, 6601 Bradley Blvd., Bethesda, Md. 20817 or Monterey Presbyterian Church, Monterey, Va. 24465.
