Doe Hill
Edward Clark Eagle, age 95, of Doe Hill passed away Friday, August 3, 1990 at Pendleton Nursing Home, Franklin, WV.
He was born May 24, 1895 in Doe Hill, a son of Jonathon Clark and Mary (Crummett) Eagle.
He was a member of McKendree United Methodist Church and the Highland Senior Citizens. He was a life-long maker of maple syrup.
He is survived by a half-brother, Ray Eagle of Doe Hill; and a number of nieces and nephews.
A service will be conducted 11 a.m. Monday at Doe Hill United Methodist Church by the Rev. Steve McMillion, with burial in Doe Hill Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jay Eagle, John Jr. and Eddie Moyers, Lee Blagg, Tom Jones and Robert Armstrong.
The family will receive friends 7-9 p.m. Sunday at Obaugh Funeral Home, McDowell.
Memorials may be made to the McDowell Fire Department, c/o Delbert Rexrode, 527 Windrush Lane, Doe Hill, Va. 24433.
