Elsie Lee Harold

Elsie Lee Harold, 71, of Monterey passed away Monday morning, January 1, 1990 in Alleghany Regional Hospital, Clifton Forge.

She was born August 18, 1918 in Hightown, a daughter of Robert Lee and Beulah (Hull) Harold Dr.

Her husband, William Dotson Harold, died January 1964.

Survivors include a daughter, Barbara Lee Harold of Lynchburg; son, Norman Harold of Clifton Forge; four sisters, Sue Harris of Rittman, OH, Marie Johns of Waynesboro, Rebecca Lightner of Monterey and Shirley Gutshall of Staunton; two brothers, Robert Lee Jr. and Paul K. Harold, both of Staunton; and three grandchildren.

A service will be conducted 2 p.m. Thursday at Obaugh Funeral Home by the Rev. C. William Cox. Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery on Back Creek.

Pallbearers will be Allen and Pat Lowry, Ernest Lightner Jr., Curtis Gutshall Jr., Billy Johns and Randy Harold.
