Emmett Rexrode
December 31, 1909 — May 3, 1997
Emmett Franklin Rexrode, 87, Moyers, WV, died Saturday, May 3, 1997, at his home.
Mr. Rexrode was born December 31, 1909, in Brandywine, WV and was the son of the late Frank and Sally Puffenbarger Rexrode.
He was a farmer and a member of the St. John Lutheran Church.
On May 13, 1934, he married Clona Ruth Moyers, who survives.
Also surviving are a son, Orville Lee Rexrode, Moyers, WV; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
The Rev. Christ Weitzel will conduct the funeral at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at Obaugh Funeral Home in McDowell. Burial will be at the family cemetery at his home.
The family will receive friends 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Memorial donations may be made to the South Fork Rescue Squad, Sugar Grove, WV 26815.
