Gladys Stanley
April 5, 1926 — July 13, 2008
Gladys Liptrap Stanley, of the Williamsville Community, entered her eternal home on Sunday, July 13, 2008, with her family by her bedside. Gladys was born April 5, 1926 in Bath County, where she spent her entire life.
She is survived by her loving husband, who so faithfully cared for her during her illness, Frank Stanley, Jr. In March, they celebrated 61 years of marriage. Her children, Lucille Teague and husband, Marshall of Roanoke; Pat Dew and husband, Gene of Salem; Nancy Craft and husband, Gerald of Salem; Judy Stanley of Roanoke; Roger Stanley and wife, Dana of Culpeper; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild. She was the last living member of her family.
There will be no visitation and burial will be private.
