Gladys Lillian Wilfong

Gladys Lillian Wilfong, 87, of Hightown, died on Tuesday morning, January 11, 1994 at Alleghany Regional Hospital.

She was born on December 28, 1906 at Blue Grass.

She was a member of Pisgah Presbyterian Church.

Surviving are her husband, Walker I. Wilfong; a daughter, Beatrice Bovis of Fairfax; a son, Robert H. Wilfong of Staunton; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

A service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at Obaugh Funeral Home by the Rev. C. William Cox, with burial at the Wilfong family cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Jacob, Ritchie and Richard Hevener, Harry J. and Paul Simmons, Robert and Leo Gum and George Smith.

Honorary pallbearers will be friends attending the service.

The family will receive friends from 7:30-8:30 tonight at the funeral home.
