Grace M. Propst

Grace M. Propst, 85, of Moyers, WV, died Saturday morning, January 14, 1989 in the Pendleton Nursing Home in Franklin.

She was born Octobert 25, 1903 in Moyers, a daughter of George Washington and Carrie L. (Propst) Rexrode.

She was a member of the St. John Lutheran Church, the Women of the Church and the Thorn Creek Home Demonstration Club. 

Her husband, Whitney A. Propst, preceded here in death July 9, 1964.

Survivors include a daughter, Anita Propst Long of Bridgewater; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

A service will be conducted 11 a.m. Tuesday in the St. John Lutheran Church at Moyers by the Revs. Norman Nilson and Chester  Rickard.

Burial will be in the church cemetery. The body will be placed in the church one hour prior to the service.

Pallbearers will be Tony L. Long, Charles W., Jeffrey, Leland, Vernon and Kenneth Propst.

The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Monday at Obaugh Funeral Home at McDowell.
