Harvey Floyd Moyers, age 71, of Brandywine, WV, passed away Saturday morning, December 23, 1989 at his residence.
He was born May 118, 1918 at Moyers, a son of Floyd and Florence (Stinnett) Moyers.
On September 25, 1943 he married Ida P. Moyers.
He was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church, a farmer, a veteran of the U.S. Army during World War II, and a member of Sugar Grove VFW Post 9666.
In addition to his widow, he is survived by two daughters, Karen Schulz of Seattle, WA and Vicki Grypa of North East, MD; two brothers, John of Middleburg, OH, and Harlan Moyers of Moyers; five sisters, Retha Propst of Moyers, Sylvia Moyers of LeMoyne, PA, Myrtle Moyers of Mechanicsburg, PA, Anna Ruth Allen of CA, and Julia Beaner of Lancaster, PA; as well as three grandchildren.
A service will be conducted 11 a.m. Wednesday at Calvary Lutheran Church by the Rev. David A. Lee, with burial in Sugar Grove Cemetery.
The family will receive friends 7-8:30 p.m. Tuesday at the church.
Memorials can be made to Sugar Grove Rescue Squad, Sugar Grove, WV, or Calvary Lutheran Church, Sugar Grove, WV.
