Homer "Frank" Widenhouse

Homer Franklin “Frank” Widenhouse, 82, of Sugar Grove, WV and Cocoa, FL, died Wednesday, September 24, 2008 at Harrisonburg Health and Rehabilitation Center in Harrisonburg, VA. He was born September 6, 1926 in Cabarrus County, NC a son of the late Homer Widenhouse and Ploma (Ferguson) Widenhouse Burleyson and a step-son of Grady Burleyson.
He was a member of the Crummett Run Church of the Brethren in Sugar Grove, WV and was a member of the Masonic Lodge #339 in Coca Beach, FL. Frank served in the U.S. Navy and U. S. Marine Corps during WWII. He was employed in men’s retail clothing for 37 years.
He is survived by a special friend, Galen Crummett of Sugar Grove, WV and cousins in North Carolina.
A graveside service will be conducted 2 p.m., Saturday, September 27, 2008 in the Crummett Run Cemetery by Pat Godfrey.
