Isaac Samuel Hise

Isaac Samuel Hise, 74, of Hightown died Friday evening, November 23, 1990 at University of Virginia Medical Center.

He was born April 12, 1916 at Hightown, a son of Oscar Cleveland and Betty (Eckard) Hise.

On October 8, 1958, he married Edith Arbogast of Hightown, who survives.

He was a lifetime resident of Highland County and a member of Hightown United Methodist Church.

In addition to his widow, he is survived by a son, Samuel C. Hise of Hightown; three sisters, Annie Carpenter and Jacqueline Arbogast, both of Staunton, and Lucille Doyle of Mustoe; and two brothers, Clarence W. and Coolidge Hise, both of Staunton.

A service will be conducted 1 p.m. Tuesday at Obaugh Funeral Home by the Rev. Richard Gibson, with burial at Hightown Cemetery,

Pallbearers will be James bird, George Smith, Jacob Hevener, Robert and Leo Gum, Homes Stephenson, Sterling Hise and Saul Simmons.
