Janet Lucille Brown, 77, died Sunday night (Feb. 10, 1991), at King’s Daughters’ Hospital.
She was born March 22, 1913 in Bolar, a daughter of George Allen and Eliza (Corrigan) Robertson.
She was a member of the Presbyterian church and was a registered nurse in New York and New Jersey and was retired from Oak Hill Nursing Home in Staunton.
Survivors include a brother, Roy Robertson of Bolar; and a number of great nieces and nephews.
A service was conducted 11 a.m. Wednesday at Obaugh Funeral Home by the Revs. C. William Cox and Jerry Ginn. Burial will be in the Valley Bethel Cemetery near Bolar.
Pallbearers will be Ernest, Lowell and Paul Terry, Dale Bussard, James Varner, Carl Gutshall, Leon Carpenter, and James Hiner.
