Jennings Bryan Nelson

Jennings Bryan Nelson, 54, of Sugar Grove, died on Saturday, September 11, 1993 at Rockingham Memorial Hospital.

He was born on July 26, 1939 in Highland County, Va., a son of Raymond and Elva (Mullenax) Nelson. On November 22, 1978 he married Charon Rexrode.

In addition to his widow, surviving are three sons, John of Fulks Run, Va. Bryan of Harrisonburg, Va. and David Nelson of Woodstock, Va.; two daughters, Sheila Nelson of the home and Lisa Smith of Durbin; three brothers, Junior of Dayton, Va., William of Harrisonburg, Va. and Wilson Nelson of Franklin; three sisters, Anna Coffman of Stuarts Draft, Va. and Frances Selmon of Hightown, Va.; as well as three grandchildren.

A service will be conducted at 2;30 p.m. Monday at Obaugh Funeral Home by the Rev. Norman Neilsen, with burial in Blue Grass Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Wayne, Lenn and Jerry Nelson, Dale Hiner, Mark Coffman and Gay Selmon.
