MONTEREY, VA Jessie Gray Dever, 83, of Monterey, passed away Friday, February 19, 2016 at her home. She was born October 26, 1932 in Mustoe a daughter of the late Jess Franklin and Bessie Mae (Harris) Tidd. Ms. Dever attended Highland Baptist Church. She had worked at Jessico garment factory in both Monterey and Franklin, WV and had also been employed at the Homestead. She is survived by her daughter, Linda Gray Gwin and husband, Richard of Roanoke and her son, J.F. Dever and wife, Maxine of Monterey. The family will hold a private memorial service.
