Jessor Leroy Hupman, 57, of Williamsville and formerly Monterey, passed away Sunday, October 9, 2022.
He was born in Bath County on August 31, 1965, a son of the late James Leonard and Mildred “Tune” Hope (Huffman) Hupman.
A life-long truck driver, Jessor had been employed with Hooke Brothers, Ruddle Trucking, Rasnake Trucking, Hinkle Trucking and most recently R J and Sons Trucking. He was also owner operator of J&C Trucking for a number of years. A kind hearted, genuine man, who never met a stranger enjoyed attending truck pulls as well as visiting and talking with people. Additionally, Jessor enjoyed deer hunting and time spent fishing. Above all, he will be remembered as a selfless person, who always put others first.
He is survived by twin daughters, Jessie Macayla and Jamie Nicole Hupman, both of Monterey; brother, Charles “Charlie” B. Hupman of Mustoe; sister, Sueanne Hupman Kimble of Head Waters; sister-in-law, Judy Hupman of Blue Grass; mother of his children, Chantell Hupman of New Market; nephews, Michael Hupman and wife, Rain and Evan Kimble; niece, Emily Walker and husband, Bradley; great-niece, Violet Hupman; great-nephew, Bo Walker; as well as his beloved dog and travel companion, Toby.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Andy Hupman.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
