Joseph Towle

Joseph C. Towle, 82, of the Springs Nursing Center, Hot Springs, and formerly of Mustoe, died September 3, 1996 at the center.

Mr.  Towle was born December 23, 1913, in Ohio and was the son of Joseph Currier and Grace Brown Towle.

His wife, Barbara Turner Towle, died on December 25, 1993.

Survivors include two daughters, Elizabeth Chilton Towle, Richmond and Honesty Towle Connolly, Easton, Md.; four sons, Jeffrey Currier Towle, Scotts Valley, Calif., Peter Brown Towle, La Messa, Calif., John Luce Towle, Baltimore, Md., and William Bradford Towle, Richmond; one sister, Elizabeth Maxwell, Monterey; and five grandchildren.

Arrangements are by Obaugh Funeral Home.
