Julian “JP” Pulley, age 82 of Williamsburg, passed away peacefully on June 28, 2025.
A veteran of the United States Marine Corps, JP served during the Vietnam War. He was an engineer with top level security clearance, with Verizon Communications for 29 years, working in the Washington DC area.
JP loved automobiles and probably owned thirty different models in his lifetime. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and electric bikes, boating, as well as avidly playing pool.
He is survived by his loving wife, Joyce Longauer; his two daughters, Amanda Jo Fuccella and Julia Groff and husband, Bruce; granddaughters, Alexandra, Caroline, Anna, and Claire; nieces, Paige, and Camie; two step-children, Bobby, and Mary Longauer; as well as numerous cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Julian and Janet (Wimer) Pulley; brother, Frank Pulley; and his grandparents, Frank and Bonnie (Wimer) Wimer.
A graveside memorial service will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, October 4. 2025 in Blue Grass Cemetery with Gene King officiating.
The family would like to thank the Gentiva Hospice care team for their guidance, kindness, and gentleness throughout Julian’s illness.
