Julian “June Bug” Douglas Gardner, 86, of Clearwater, FL, passed away Monday, January 2, 2017. He was born November 3, 1930 in Mustoe a son of the late Hampton Bruce and Jamina Jane (Stalnaker) Gardner.
A U.S. Army veteran, Mr. Gardner served during the Korean Conflict. He retired from the hotel industry, having worked at various hotels, including the Homestead, Grand Hotel in Michigan and Ponce de Leon Hotel in Florida.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by seven brothers and three sisters.
Survivors include many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be conducted 11 a.m., Friday, January 13, 2017 in Gardner Cemetery near Mustoe with Pastor Bobbie Jo Gardner officiating.
