Kennie Waybright, 86, died Sunday morning, October 28, 1990 in King's Daughters' Hospital.
He was born July 26, 1904 in Pendleton, WV, a son of Jesse and Attie (Rexrode) Waybright. In April 1924, he married Ollie Elizabeth Mullenax, who survives. He was a logger and a farmer and was a member of Kerr Chapel Brethren Church in Boyer, WV.
In addition to his wife, survivors include three daughters, Lucille Back, Mary Johnson and Dolly Varner, all of Churchville; three sons, Nevin of Boyer, WV, George of Staunton and Lester Waybright of Zelienople, PA; a sister, Agnes Raines of Waynesboro; three brothers, Hiner of Arbovale, WV, Jesse of Ft. Wayne, Ind. and Harry Waybright of Mt. Solon; 15 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren.
A service will be conducted 11 a.m. Wednesday in Arbovale United Methodist church in West Virginia by the Rev. David Rittenhouse. Burial will be in Arbovale Cemetery.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers and grandchildren and great-grandchildren will serve as honorary pallbearers.
The family will received from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday night at Obaugh Funeral Home in McDowell.
