Kermit Douglas Hull

Kermit Douglas Hull, 68, of Pulaski passed away Thursday morning, May 11, 1989 at his home in Hightown.

He was born April 28, 1921, at Hightown, a son of Allie Porter and Annie Forrest (Eye) Hull.

On April 10, 1947 he married Kathleen Patterson of Pulaski, who survives.

Hull was a member of Thornspring United Methodist Church at Pulaski, an Army veteran of World War II serving in the Pacific area and was retired as manager of People's Life Insurance Co. after 45 years of service.

In addition to his widow,, he is survived by a daughters,  Kathryn A. Hull of Ashland; two sons, Kermit D. Jr. of Ellenwood, Ga., and Michael  P. Hull of Pulaski; two brothers, Ray and Richard Hull, both of Staunton; two grandchildren Kermit D. Hull III of North Carolina and William Horton of Georgia.

A service will be conducted 1 p.m. Monday at Obaugh Funeral Home, McDowell by the Revs. Richard Gibson and Bill Rines, with burial in Thornrose Cemetery in Staunton.

Pallbearers will be Doug, Randy, Tiffany and David Hull, Jerry and Richie Hevener, Tim and Bill Patterson Jr. and George  Smith.

Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, Monterey, Va. 24465.
