Lena Emma Snyder

Lena Emma Snyder, 91, of Doe Hill, died Tuesday morning, October 1, 1991 at King's Daughters' Hospital.

She had been a resident of Oak Hill Nursing for five years.

She was born September 10, 1900 at Pendleton County, WV, a daughter of Amos and Etta Puffenbarger

She was a member of the Doe Hill United Methodist Church, the Women of the Church and the Extension Homemakers Club.

She had operated the switchboard at Doe Hill for 20 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Newton Snyder.

She is survived by a daughter, Helen S. Sandridge of Raphine; three sons, Fred of San Diego, Calif., Earl of Verona and Roscoe Snyder of Riverdale, Ga.; and six grandchildren; and nine-greatgrandchildren.

A service will be conducted 2 p.m. Thursday in the Doe Hill Cemetery by the Rev. Steve McMillion.
