Lillian Catherine Freede, 72, of Arbovale, WV died Wednesday, October 19, 1988 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital, Roanoke, Va.
She was born May 15, 1916 at Hightown, Va., a daughter of William Jackson and Sally (Arbogast) Eye.
She attended the United Methodist Church and had worked as a nurse's aide in Geneve, Ohio for 17 years.
Her first husband, Jennings Bryan Marshall, and her second husband, Donald Freede, preceded her in death.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Margaret Rowan of Buchahan and Mrs. Betty Baldwin of Conneaut, Ohio; six sons, Larry, William and Gary, all of Ashtabula, Ohio, Jennings and Albred, both of Geneva, and Robert Marshall of Arbovale; brother Alfred Eye of Chardon, Ohio; 20 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
A service will be conducted 1 p.m. Sunday at Blue Grass United Methodist Church by the Rev. Richard Gibson, with burial in Blue Grass Cemetery.
The body will be placed in the church one hour prior to the service.
Pallbearers will be Bryan, Duke and Jody Marshall, Harry and Tim Baldwin and Roger Johnson.
Granddaughters will serve as flower bearers.
The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. Saturday at Obaugh Funeral Home in McDowell, Va.
