Lottie Chloe Gumm, 81, of Monterey, died Wednesday afternoon, December 14, 1988 at her residence.
She was born July 13, 1907 at Monterey, a daughter of Andrew Jackson and Amanda Augusta (Propst) White.
On May 21, 1932, she married Fred Aaron Gumm, who died August 9, 1974.
Mrs. Gumm was a member of the Green Hill United Methodist church.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Carolyn Thomas of Hot Springs, Mrs. Phyllis Williams of Gaithersburg, Md., and Mrs. Emily Chestnut of Dunmore, WV; one son, Darrel Gumm of Monterey; one sister, Mrs. Elsie Mae Chestnut of Monterey; and 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
A service will be conducted 1 p.m. Saturday at Obaugh Funeral Home by the Rev. Robert Gue. Burial will be in Green Hill Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Curtis Terry, Ronnie White, Steve White Jr., Laymond Chestnut Jr., Howard Rexrode and Darwin King.
Honorary pallbearers will be friends attending the service.
The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home in McDowell.
