Mabel Lou Ralston

Mabel Lou (Siron) Ralston, 96, of McDowell died Monday evening, October 21, 1991 at the Bath County Community Hospital.

She was born October 13, 1895 at McDowell, a daughter of Joseph M. Viola (Keister) Siron.

On November 3, 1920 she married James Louie Ralston who preceded her in death on May 13, 1964. She was a member of Bethlehem Presbyterian Church and was the church  organist for several years.

She had attended Shenandoah College of Dayton.

Survivors include a sister, Mildred Malcolm of McDowell; a brother, Sidney Siron of Staunton; and 13 nieces and nephews.

A service will be conducted 11 a.m. Saturday in the McKendreee Cemetery near McDowell by Rev. Lester LaPrade.

Pallbearers will be Ronald and Joe Malcolm, Roby and Rudolph Siron, James Armstrong, Kyle Obaugh, Jeffery and Capt. George and Robert Zaniewski.
