Margaret Virginia Fox

Margaret Virginia Anderson Fox, 74, died Monday afternoon, July 22, 1991 at King's Daughters' Hospital.

She was born October 2, 1916 at Monterey, a daughter of Charles Arthur and Leolia Mae (Hiner) Anderson. He husband, Robert Scylar Fox, died in 1963.

She was a member of the Monterey United Methodist Church, the Mt. View Extension Homemakers and the Lady's Auxiliary of the Monterey Fire Department.

Survivors include a sister, Hannah Gum of Monterey; a brother, Algernon Anderson of Florida; and a number of nieces and nephews.

A service will be conducted 2 p.m. Thursday at Obaugh Funeral Home by the Rev. Jerry Ginn. Burial will be in the Monterey Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Michael Herold, Robert and Fed Whitelaw, Rudolph Siron, Duane Hylton, Porter Folks, Tony Stinnett and John Russell.

The family will receive friends 7 to 8 tonight at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Monterey Fire Department or the Highland County Rescue Squad, Monterey, Va.  or the American Heat Association.
