Marjorie Dean Atwell, 49, of Sugar Grove, WV, died Sunday morning, August 16, 1987 in Rockingham Memorial Hospital.
She was born May 15, 1938 at Hightown, a daughter of Ruth Wilfong.
She was a member of Brushy Fork Full Gospel Church and had been employed at Hanover Shoe Co. for 11 years.
He husband, Denny R. Atwell, died September 11, 1968.
Surviving are a daughter, Melissa Harman of Sugar Grove; stepfather, Ralph Bodtkin of Sugar Grove; two half brothers, Roland of Harrisonburg and Eugene Bodtkin of Hinton; and two grandchildren.
A service will be conducted 2 p.m. Tuesday in Sugar Grove Cemetery by Rev. Bill Watson.
Pallbearers will be Robert Kemper, Frazier Roop, Robert Harman, James Rexrode, George Gunter and Dennis Bodtkin.
The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m., Monday at Obaugh Funeral Home in McDowell.
