Mary Hilda Jack, 91, of Pendleton Manor in Franklin, WV and formerly of Blue Grass, Va., passed away Monday, April 5, 2021 at Sentara RMH Medical Center.
She was born September 13, 1929 in Durbin, WV, a daughter of the late Virgie (Dickerson) and Samuel Lemasters.
Mrs. Jack was a woman of great faith and held membership with Blue Grass United Methodist Church. She enjoyed time spent tending to her sheep, caring for her pet cats, and will be remembered for raising beautiful vegetable and flower gardens.
Mary is survived by her husband of 72 years, John William Jack, also of Pendleton Manor; a daughter, Mary “Lenora” Ralston and husband, Charlie of Blue Grass, Va.; son, John W. “Billy” Jack Jr. of Blue Grass, Va.; three grandchildren, Caitlyn E. Ralston of Inwood, WV, Charles “Calvin” Ralston of Blue Grass, Va. and Peggy Sue Gross of Richmond, Va.; as well as two great-grandchildren, Bentley and Skylar.
She was preceded in death by her siblings Roy, August, Ida, Alma, Ruby, Maxine, as well as two infant sisters.
A graveside memorial service will be held 2 p.m., Wednesday, April 7, 2021 in Blue Grass Cemetery with Rev. Andre Crummett officiating.
