Mary Morris Lynch

Mary Morris Lynch, 93, of Monterey, died Wednesday morning, December 15, 1993 at the Bath County Community Hospital.

She was born January 5, 1900 at Millington, Maryland and was a daughter of the late John J. and Sallie Belle (Dononvan) Morris.

On December 17, 1925 she married John Mitchell Lynch who died in February 1956. She was a member of the Monterey Presbyterian Church.

She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Jean L. and G.E. McWhorter Jr. of Monterey; a son-in-law, Harold E. Guerry of West Point, Ga., three grandchildren, Evelyn G. Blizzard of Lexington, SC, Mark Morris Watson of Arrington, Tenn. and William W. watson III of San Francisco, Ca.; one nephew, John J. Morris IV of Palo Alto, Ca.; and several great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by a brother, John J. Morris III; a daughter, Margery L. Guerry; and a grandson, John Mitchell Lynch Watson.

A graveside service will be conducted 11 a.m., Friday, December 17 in the Greenlawn Memorial Park in Columbia, SC by the Rev. Lewis Galloway.
