Mary Lee Wheeler

Mary Lee Wheeler, 83, a resident of Pendleton Nursing Home, Franklin, WV for six years and who was formerly of Arlington, Va., died Friday morning, December 25, 1987 at Rockingham Memorial Hospital.

She was born August 3, 1904 at Trussville, Ala., a daughter of Lee and Sybil (Martin) Morrison.

She had been employed in the war department with the U.S. Government during World War II.

Her husband, Joseph W. Wheeler, Sr., died in 1974.

Survivors include two sons, Joseph W. Jr., of Herndon, Va., and Head Waters, Va., and Tyler Lee Wheeler of Prescott, Ariz.; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

A service will be held 11 a.m. Monday at National Memorial Park Cemetery, Falls Church, Va.
