Michel Antoine Claude Gauthier, “Frenchy,” 72, of Monterey passed away Friday, Dec. 24, 2011 at his home.
He was born April 6, 1939 in Chambery, France, a son of the late Pierre Frederic and Rene Herpigny Gauthier.
He is survived by his wife, Janette Gauthier of Virginia Beach; a daughter, Nicole Gauthier and her husband Randy Arndt of Walnut Creek, Calif.; a son, Jonathan Gauthier and his wife Dana of Virginia Beach; and two grandchildren, Chloe Arndt and Shiloh Gauthier.
He was preceded in death by a son, Gregory Gauthier.
Mr. Gauthier’s family will hold a memorial service this summer in the French Alps.
