Mildred Terry

Mildred C. Terry, 79, of McDowell, passed away, Wednesday, March 30, 2011 at her home.
She was born July 10, 1931 in Bath County, a daughter of the late Bernice Hicklin.
Mrs. Terry attended Hiner Church of the Brethren and was a member of Helping Hands. She retired from bookkeeping and loved to crochet.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles C. Terry, on July 14, 2005.
She is survived by a daughter, Sandra Blankenship Botkin and husband, Dale, of McDowell; two sons, Charles Richard Blankenship and wife, Linda, of Baltimore, Md., and James Edward Blankenship Sr. and wife, Louette, of Baltimore, Md.; a sister, Helen Myers of Westminster, Md.; four grandchildren, Joseph Botkin and wife, Tonya, James Botkin and wife, Jamison, James Blankenship Jr. and fiancée, Traci Elliott, and Patricia Hankins and fiancé, Allen Hipp Sr.; five great-grandchildren, Abbie, Kyle and Eli Botkin, Allen Hipp Jr. and Tallulah May; a special friend and caregiver, Etta Rickell, who was like her daughter; a niece; two nephews; and four step-grandchildren.
Upon her request, her body will be cremated. There will be no formal services.
