Nathan McAllister
April 4, 1920 — July 12, 1997
Nathan R. McAllister, 77, of Mustoe, who had been a patient in the Veterans Hospital in Salem, died Saturday evening, July 12, 1997 in the Carillion Community Hospital in Roanoke.
He was born APril 4, 1920, near Mustoe, a son of Asbury and Nola McAllister.
He was a member of Victory Chapel Advent Christian Church and had worked at Saw Mills in the community and was an Army veteran.
He is survived by a brother, Lloyd McAllister of Clinton, Md.; and a number of nieces and nephews.
A service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday in the Obaugh Funeral Home by the Rev. Donald Rose.
The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday evening at the funeral home.
